Polish dinner slated to celebrate rich heritage

St. Stanislaus Catholic Church will offer the local community an authentic Polish dinner beginning at 11 am on Sunday, Feb. 12 in the beautifully restored St. Joseph’s Hall at the corner of Cedar and 7th St in Bandera.
A small $8 donation will purchase a dinner including Polish Sausage Link on a bed of Cabbage and Mashed Potatoes, Cabbage Roll, Pierogi's with Caramelized Bacon and Onion drizzled over them, Polish Vegetable Salad, Sauerkraut (Plain or Sauced) and Rye Bread prepared by St. Stanislaus Alter Society. Visit "Dessert Heaven" for an additional donation.
St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, has been the light of Christ shining in the Hill Country for over 160 years. The dinner will celebrate the rich Polish heritage of the church and the many cultures that come together in one faith. Many old photographs and artifacts will be on display during the event.
