Texas Hill Country Bank announces Stephen King as a new board director

Stephen King, Texas Hill Country Bank Board Director

King currently owns King Energy Resources and K&S Oil and Gas, LLC. both Texas based oil and gas operations companies.
Additionally, King owns and operates Eight Ninety, LLC., a real estate investment company with residential and commercial properties in Texas and Florida. King is a 1980 graduate of Texas State University.
He is a 23-year resident of Kerrville. Stephen and wife, Renee have two adult children and are members of St. Peters Episcopal Church, Kerrville.
King is a former board member and past board president of the Kerr County Joint Airport.
“Roy Thompson was our first banker when we moved to Kerrville and we have had a banking relationship with him ever since, so when he became President of Texas Hill Country Bank—I became a shareholder.” King says.
“I believe in the need for a real community bank in our community—one that serves the local businesses of the Hill Country and is managed by people who are raising their families here. When decisions are made—they are made right here.” He said.
Roy Thompson, President/CEO, Texas Hill Country Bank explained that the bank continues to build on the philosophy that local ownership and local decision making are the key to serving their customers’ personal and business banking needs.
Thompson stated, “that is why we have welcomed Stephen King to our board of directors.”
