Friends of the Bandera Library schedules first book sale of 2017

2017 has arrived. A new year signals changes and your library is no exception. John Hegemier has left to work for the city and Mike Garr has become the new Director. We will miss John but how wonderful to have an old friend to guide us.
Now, having celebrated the achievements of last year, it is time to make your plans for the new year. We hope reading will be among your resolutions. The Friends of the Library would like to help. Our first book sale of the year is this Saturday, Jan. 7, from 9 am to 1 pm. You’ll find military history, westerns, crafts, coffee table worthy travel books, vintage LP’s and books and lots of fiction and political commentary. Try a new author or a new genre.
If your resolution is to declutter, you can accomplish that goal and benefit the library. Donate your excess books to the Friend's monthly sales. We need hard and soft cover books, both fiction and non-fiction. Unfortunately we cannot accept professional books, text books or encyclopedias.
Have a very happy and healthy new year. We look forward to seeing you many Saturdays this year. As always, we thank you for reading.
