The Bandera Middle School UIL Academic Team brought home a first place at the district UIL meet in Fredericksburg on Saturday, Dec. 10. Principal Donald Tosh commented “Our Bulldogs took the competition seriously from the start. They attended numerous practice sessions, and had it in their heads that this year they were not going to let any school take away the championship.” The Bulldog team was ninety points ahead of its nearest competitor at the meet. Tosh also credits the hard work and diligence of his UIL coaches who prepared students to compete at a championship level.
