The 6th grade STEM classes at BMS join Principal Donald Tosh in accepting an Exxon Mobil grant check from Mini Mart owner Ann Fritz.

Ann Fritz of Mini Mart presented a $500 grant check from Exxon Mobil and Mini Mart to Bandera Middle School Principal, Donald Tosh. This money will be used to advance math and science (STEM) classes. BMS was nominated for the Exxon Mobil Alliance program which is designed to provide local retailers with an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants to their neighborhood schools.
The grant allows schools to purchase the necessary materials to pro-mote creative learning and great teaching in classrooms. BMS’ grant is one of only 3000 in the nation.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled that Mini Mart 2 in Bandera decided to nominate BMS for this grant,” commented Tosh.
Mini Mart has been a proud member of the community for many years. Investing in the future of Bandera’s students can help the community prosper.
