Its time for the Christmas"Tasting Tea"

Special to the Courier

With a cup of non-alcoholic champagne punch firmly in hand, Judge Tom Lee posed with wife, Carol, left, and Karen Lee at the 2015 Episcopal Tasting Tea. This year’s annual fundraiser will be Friday, Dec. 9 starting at 11:30 am at St Christopher’s Episcopal Church on Hwy. 173 north in Bandera.

It comes as no surprise that the Episcopal Church Women of St. Christopher's is hosting another spectacular Christmas Tasting Tea. Proceeds from annual fundraiser, to be held on Friday, Dec. 9, will benefit charities and projects in the City of Bandera and Bandera County, as well as parish activities.
Held in the church's parish hall, the beautifully decorated setting serves as a backdrop for a feast of delicious homemade edibles, luxurious desserts and refreshing beverages.
The Tasting Tea is always one of the holiday season's most wonderful - and delicious - events. Donation tickets are $10.
Hats go off to founder and coordinator Kiddo Wright and this year's Tasting Tea committee, Katie Bussineau, Donna Anderson, Anne Cassidy, Sale Golden, Dr. Sandra Haldeman, Buny Bond and Denise Collyer, who are hosting another event with grace and style.
Alice Ragan of the Christmas Corner Candy Company donated the gorgeous table decorations.
It's the perfect occasion for meeting friends and getting into the Christmas spirit. St. Christopher's is located at 395 Highway 173 North in Bandera. Call the church at 830-796-4387 for more information about the tea.
Those who miss this extravagant occasion are advised to be first in the door next December.
