How to Beat the Holiday Blues

Special to the Courier

Jan Grimes will be hosting our next Lunchbox Lecture at the Bandera Public Library at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, Nov. 30th.
The holiday season is a joyous time for most of us, however for some, it is a time of increased stress, loneliness and depression. Holiday stress stems from three basic sources: time, (not enough to get everything done) money, (too little to pay for it) and emotions (loneliness, painful memories, and family conflicts).
“How to Beat the Holiday Blues” will discuss strategies to manage stress, set realistic expectations and take time for yourself during the holiday season.
