Low cost animal vaccinations

By Judith Pannebaker BCC Editor

In the past several weeks, three cases of rabies have been diagnosed in wildlife in Bandera County. Additionally, humans and companion animals were exposed to this deadly virus.
In response, Dr. Jerry “Dr. B.” Bilquist will offer a low-cost animal vaccination clinic from 10 am to 2 pm, Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Pipe Creek Trading Post on Highway 16 South.
Rabies vaccination for dogs and cats are $10 each with other vaccinations also available at affordable prices.
Bandera County residents are urged to take advantage of this offer and protect their animals – and possibly themselves – from exposure to rabies.
