BCRTA planning to go ‘back in time’

The Bandera County Retired Teachers Association (BCRTA) will “reminisce” with an old-fashioned box lunch and sing-along at the meeting on Wednesday, April 20 at the Community Meeting Room of the Bandera Electric Cooperative on Hwy 16 North. The meeting will begin at 11 am.
Newly elected President Jack Smith, along with assistance from Annette Kalka-Schulte, will lead the group in singing songs from the ‘50s and ‘60s – and maybe even earlier – with accompaniment by Smith.
For lunch, each member attending is asked to bring a “decorated” box lunch, which will be auctioned off to members of the group. Proceeds will go into the BCRTA general fund. Tea and coffee will be furnished.
The final meeting of the fiscal year promises to be a lot of fun. Any and all retired school personnel residing in the county is urged to attend this informal, festive occasion.
