Art at the Lakehills Library

Lakehills Library

Texas Hill Country multi-media artist Juli Koroly will be featured in a month-long exhibition of a selection of her work, beginning on Monday, April 18, at the Lakehills Area Public Library.
The show will include everything from abstracts to wildlife, and the medium will be acrylic to wax. Koroly’s specialty is painting portraits of Native Americans based on photographs taken at the turn of the century by acclaimed photographer Edward Curtis.
She will feature these portraits and present a program based on the subjects at 7:30 pm, Thursday, May 12, at the library on FM 1283. Koroly will offer personal insight into the life of each individual and the time in history that they lived.
Additionally, several pieces in the exhibit will be available for purchase and an original painting would make a great Mother's Day gift.
