Benefit for special needs sports kids

Volunteers with the Bandera Challenger Sports League, a league for special needs children, will sponsor a fundraiser, from 8:30 am to ???, Saturday, April 2, at Twin Elm Guest Ranch on FM WHAT.
The event will include barbecue plates, silent and live auctions, face painting, roping contests, bouncy houses, bake sale. Live music will be provided by Bandera performers, Boone Holding, Lee Winright, Hollin McKay, Ken Burson, JW George, Maddi Wood, Renevus and Pat Kelley.
Bandera Challenger Sports League is dedicated to special needs kids ages 3 to 21 years. Currently, the league includes baseball and basketball, but in the near future hopefully soccer and golf will be added.
“The community is urged to attend this fun day and show their support for a worthy cause,” said a spokesman for the sports league.
