‘Give a dog a home’ this Saturday

Just in time for spring and summer, meet this love bug – #16-050 – a current resident at the Bandera County Animal Shelter on Highway 173 North. This guy is reckoned to be a Plot Hound or Tennessee Cur mix. Whatever he is, this all-round great dog would make a great family pet, according to Animal Control Liaison Sandra Schott. Describing this young boy as “fun and well-mannered,” she noted he gets along with everyone – people, other dogs and even cats! “And he’s already been neutered and vetted,” Schott added. This handsome guy and his shelter friends will be available at an adoption “meet & greet” from 10 am to 3 pm, Saturday, April 2, at the Bandera Fire Department stationhouse on Main Street. A nominal fee applies to all adoptions. For more information about #16-050 or any shelter dog, call Schott at 858-361-4686 or visit http://www.banderacountyac.org/dogs.html and meet a dog before Saturday’s adoption event.
