Lakehills United Methodist Church Fish Fry & Auction

The 16th annual Lakehills United Methodist Church Fish Fry and Auction will be held Saturday, March 19, at the Lakehills Civic Center. The fun begins at 11 am, and admission and parking are free.
Plates will include fried cat fish, with all the trimmings, and ice tea. Plates are $8 for adults and $4 for children. Peach cobbler and ice cream will be available at an extra cost.
Activities will include silent and live auctions. The live auction by Lloyd Mays Auctions will take place from 1 pm to 4 pm. Some of the auction items, donated by local businesses, can be viewed at www.auctionzip.com/TX-auctioneers/11983.html. There will also be tables with cash and carry items allowing participants to make a donation and take the item on the spot.
The event will also include live country and rock music by The Wild Oats Band. The Smooth Sailing Squares and Friends square dancers from Lakehills will perform on the main pavilion beginning at 11 am, followed by the Kick and Click Cloggers from Kerrville.
Lakehills United Methodist Church provides numerous outreach programs for the community, including Bread of Life; TWIGS, an after-school program; collaboration with Hill Country Bread Ministries; and the Wesley Nurse program, among others. This community-wide event raises funds that enable the church to plan for future needs and ministries in the community.
