BC Retired Teachers Association install officers

Members of the Bandera County Retired Teachers Association will install a new slate of officers for the upcoming 2016-2017 term at its next meeting on Wednesday, March 16. The meeting will convene at 11:15 am in the new meeting room of the China Bowl Restaurant, 1203 Pecan Street, in Bandera.
Dr. Charlotte Travis, PhD, president of District 20 Retired Teachers Association, will offer updates on items of concern to members. She will also preside at the installation of local new officers – President Jack Smith, First Vice President Bruce Hayes, Second Vice President Sherrie Keese, Secretary Jan Ethridge and Treasurer Graciela “Chela” Thompson.
Lunch from the menu, will be served at approximately noon. A head count is needed to enable employees to prepare accommodations for the group. Those who plan to attend are asked to call Doris Doebbler at 830-460-3956 by Monday, March 13.
All retired teachers and school staff are urged to attend.
