SU lecture reset for Feb. 16

Consultant, motivational speaker and bestselling author Curtis Zimmerman will present the Weir and Nell Labatt Distinguished Lecture at 7 pm, Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Schreiner University in Kerrville.
This lecture, which was rescheduled from a January date, will be presented in the Floyd and Kathleen Cailloux Campus Activity Center Ballroom. It is free and open to the public.
“Zimmerman’s lecture, titled ‘Living Life at Performance Level,’ is a dynamic, experiential program which hands participants tools to ignite their ultimate potential,” said Schreiner Campus Minister Gini Norris-Lane. Zimmerman connects with audiences through an interactive style and approachable manner. He incorporates the skills he gained from more than 25 years in the entertainment industry – as a mime, juggler and fire eater – into powerful programs, balancing the connection between education and entertainment.
The author of six books, including the 2012 bestseller, Life at Performance Level, Zimmerman is a sought-after motivational speaker for major organizations as varied as Walt Disney Entertainment, Procter & Gamble, the United States Air Force and the NCAA.
The Weir and Nell Labatt Distinguished Lecture Series was established by a generous gift from the late Nell Schreiner Labatt. The series attracts motivational speakers to campus and helps link the campus community with the greater Hill Country community.
