Polish dinner at St. Stanislaus

Event

Members of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Altar Society of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church will celebrate faith heritage by serving an authentic Polish dinner from 11 am to 2 pm, Sunday, Feb. 7, at St. Joseph's Hall on 7th Street.
Dinners are $8 and will include Polish sausage link on a bed of cabbage and mashed potatoes, cabbage roll, pierogis drizzled with caramelized bacon and onion, Polish vegetable salad, plain or sauced sauerkraut and Polish rye bread, as well as a drink.
The society's "Dessert Heaven" will feature sweets to complete the meal; prices will vary and offerings will include whole cakes and pies.
"Join with us as we honor the immigrant pioneer spirit that continues to keep our faith strong here in the Hill Country," said an event spokesman.
