Bandera County Hermann Sons Lodge #81 hosted it's annual Christmas party at the Lakehills Civic Center on Dec. 6.
The Humanitarian Award was awarded to Stephanie Brown, Bandera County Lodge Dance Class president. She is married to Jeff and they have three beautiful daughters, Emily, Sierra and Olivia. Not only she has been a dance class officer for the last 10 years, she has also been an active worker in the Lakehills United Methodist Church, with the nursery, the church's youth group and the meals and events that benefit the community.
You can always find her at her daughter's school helping with school picture days, book fairs and holiday parties in the classrooms.
Special guest from the Grand Lodge was Grand Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer Mary Beam and her husband, Mike.
Hermann Sons Dance Class Instructor Katie Yanta and dance students and their parents provided the entertainment for the Christmas Party.
In addition, the Hermann Sons' Players, Beverly Gagliardi, Paul and Eileen Heath and Jack Trenklbach, offered Christmas carols accompanied by ukulele and guitar music.
The Christmas dinner included baked ham and many side dishes. Santa paid a visit to the party and gave out bags of goodies.
Door prizes were given to lucky winners.
Special thanks to volunteers Beverly and Joe Gagliardi, Kathleen and Gary Reile, Pam and Allan Biering, Susan and Ken Hillje, Sandy and Jack Trenkelbach and Eileen and Paul Heath for helping to make the party a success.
The Lodge wishes everyone a merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
