Participants are advised to wear sensible shoes, layered clothing and a hat or cap and bring field books, cameras, water - and a friend.
Arrive early enough to register before the 10 am start. Day-use entry fees will apply, but participants are urged to bring a picnic and stay at the park all day on their own
To RSVP, call 830 796-4413. For more information, contact Beauxbeannes at Leanne.beauxbeannes@tpwd.texas.gov.
"As John Muir said, 'When walking with nature, one finds more than he seeks'," Beauxbeannes noted. "Come to teach or learn about nature in the Hill Country. We will walk and talk and explore fall in full color."
