McCall challenges Lamar Smith

Matt McCall has announced his bid for United States Congress in Texas Congressional District 21 in the March 1, Republican primary. Incumbent is Lamar Smith.
In his first political effort, McCall campaigned against Smith in the 2014 Republican primary, winning 34 percent of the vote district wide.
District 21 encompasses all of Real, Bandera, Kerr, Gillespie, Kendall and Blanco counties, and parts of Travis, Hays, Comal, and Bexar.
McCall champions the Constitution and, in particular, the 10th amendment as a tool to return power to Texas. He brings a skill set as a businessman of getting results that he wants to take to Congress to apply to our conservative values. McCall believes those values have been compromised by career politicians, like Smith, who have promised to fight for them in Washington but continue to vote the opposite.
A lifelong Republican, McCall is also a small business owner, father of two and a Christian. He lives in Boerne.
