It's 'Tasting Tea' time again

The holiday season is approaching and nothing provides more Christmas spirit than the annual Tasting Tea, brought to the community by the Episcopal Church Women of St. Christopher's. From 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, Friday, Dec. 11, the place to be will be St. Christopher's Parish Hall on Highway 173 North. For an entrée to the holidays, no one should miss this delectable event. Tickets are $10 per person and church members prepare one or more food items. Recipes are collected and bound in a cookbook for purchase. Several local restaurants also participate by contributing items. Tickets will also be available at the door the Friday of the tea. Tasting Tea committee members include, standing, from left, Katie Bussineau, Donna Anderson, Anne Cassidy, Sable Golden and Dr. Sandra Haldeman; and, seated, Bunny Bond; Kiddo Wright; Lee Correll, owner of O'Neal's Florist & Antiques, who provides the glorious decorations; and Denise Collyer.
