Time for library book sale

By Mary Conley Secretary, FOL

It's November and the hunt is on! If you are stalking games, puzzles, music on tape/CD/vinyl, or a lovely variety of reading material, the Friends of the Library 1st Saturday book sale is the place to search.
Special this month are westerns, particularly Louis L'Amour. We also have history, astronomy, and several sets featuring the human body, America's natural bounty or mysteries of the world, as well as novels of all genres.
The sale is Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 am to 1 pm at the Bandera Library. We hope to see you there.
The Friends of the Library are also hunting for volunteers to help with any or all of the activities we sponsor to raise funds for our wonderful library. If you think you might be of assistance please call Mary Conley at 830-460-4217.
Since November is also the month of giving thanks, the Friends wish to recognize so many benefactors: those who join the Friends in our membership drive; the donors who donate books, tapes, puzzles, for our monthly sales; the volunteers who set up and put away our sale materials; those who wrap Christmas gifts at Barnes &Noble; our many customers who purchase at the monthly sales or from the 25¢ nook; and the board of the Friends who provide guidance and assistance.
And if you read at all, we thank you for reading.
