The new science lab for Medina High School, a project initiated just over six months ago and funded entirely through individual contributions from across the district's little community, is nearly finished - in record time.
To mark the completion of Medina's newest educational resource, and to honor its many donors for their essential support, the school will host an Open House/Reception in the new facility on Friday, Nov. 6, from 5 pm to 7:30 pm, with a brief dedication ceremony scheduled for 6 pm.
"Come to see what you and your neighbors have helped to create, and celebrate our shared commitment to Medina's children and its school," said a spokesman. "Thank you all, again and forever!"
Construction on the expanded classroom/lab is now complete; worktables, cabinets, shelving and essential items of lab equipment have been arriving daily.
