BHS offers financial aid training for parents

On Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 7 pm in the BHS Library, BHS will sponsor a presentation on how to apply for college financial aid.
Denise Ames, Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Schreiner University, will deliver a free one-hour program which covers the topics of how to plan for and manage college costs, what types of financial aid are available to everyone, what options families have when planning for college and other related financial aid questions.
Most parents are well aware of the high cost of college, but this program will dispel the myth that college is only for the wealthy. It will answer parents' questions about how to send their student to college without risking their family's financial future.
