Fighting cyberfraud workshop set

The UTSA Small Business Development Center will hold a free workshop for small business owners about protecting yourself, your family and your business from cyberfraud. The workshop will be held Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 7:30 am to 9:15 am.
Contact Mariah Kilbourne, 210-458-2746 for more information, or go online to the SBDC website at www.sasbdc.org to register.
The workshop will be held at the San Antonio Area Foundation at 303 Pearl Parkway in San Antonio.
How secure are your small business assets from fraud, identity theft, and cybercrime? According to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), companies with less than 100 employees lose approximately $155,000 as a result of fraud each year. Small businesses also have a higher fraud rate than larger companies and non-business owners.
Don't be a victim. Join the Small Business Development Center and Frost Bank for an informative session on how you can better protect your business from common forms of fraud and cybercrime.
Breakfast will be provided and door prizes awarded.
