GMA 9 joint planning meeting

Groundwater Management Area 9 will hold a joint planning meeting at the offices of the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District in Bandera on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 10 am. The meeting is open to the public. BCRAGD is located at 440 FM 3240.
Texas Water Code Chapter 36 requires groundwater conservation districts to conduct joint planning within groundwater management areas. The Texas Water Development Board will calculate modeled available groundwater values, based on the desired future conditions, which will be used for regional water planning, groundwater conservation district management plans, and for permitting groundwater withdrawals.
Groundwater Manage-ment Area 9 consists of the following groundwater conservation districts: Bandera County River Authority and Ground Water District, Barton Springs/Edwards Aquifer Conservation District, Blanco-Pedernales Groundwater Conservation District, Cow Creek Groundwater Conservation District, Edwards Aquifer Authority, Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District, Headwaters Groundwater Conservation District, Medina County Groundwater Conservation District, and Trinity-Glen Rose Groundwater Conservation District.
