These women are ready for Walt Disney Wednesday at Bandera High School. BHS Homecoming Week will be full of fun and spirited activities in preparation for the game against the Comfort Bobcats on Friday, Sept. 18.

The week of Sept. 14 - Sept. 18 will be a fun time in Bandera ISD with great activities that will build spirit and lead up to the Homecoming Game against the Comfort Bobcats on Friday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 pm.
High school theme days for the week will include Monday, Sept. 14 as Sock Hop Monday with a 50s flavor. Prior to the Homecoming Parade on Monday, Sept. 14, the Star Steppers Dance Team will be selling Barbecue on a bun, a drink and a bag of chips for $7 at the concession stand at Bulldog Stadium as a pre-parade meal. The Star Stepper Dancers will also be selling Homecoming T-shirts for $15.
That evening at 7:30 pm, the Homecoming Parade will wind its way up the hill to end at Bulldog Stadium. When everyone arrives at the stadium, there will be a brief pep rally. Student groups who wish to participate in the parade can contact Star Stepper sponsor Laurie Van Dyne at lvandyne@banderaisd.net for more information.
On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the campus will see double with Twin Tuesday. Sept. 16 will be Walt Disney Wednesday where students can come dressed as their favorite Disney character. Tourist Thursday celebrates the tourist culture that supports the hospitality industry in Bandera. Bandera Middle School will also have a Pep Rally on Thursday at 2 pm.
Friday, Sept. 18, will be Bulldog Spirit Day. Students will be encouraged to wear blue and white spirit attire to show their support of the Bulldog team.
"We hope to show the Bobcats a sea of blue and white across the field," said BHS Principal Sergio Menchaca. "Bandera High School's team spirit is exceptional and I'm proud to be a Bulldog."
The 2015 BHS Homecoming Court and representatives from BHS student organizations will be presented prior to the game on Friday.
