Customer appreciation returns to book sale

By Mary Conley FOL Secretary

Labor Day is here and activities abound. And those include the Friends 1st Saturday Book Sale at the Bandera library. This month's feature is cookbooks, from church society cookbooks to glossy professional publications. You cannot but be tempted to try a new recipe.
Beautiful quilting books and Christmas themed books will inspire your creativity. Unusual new donations also include puzzles, games, music, 45's, LP's and CD's, and even boxed Harry Potter figurines.
September heralds the return of Customer Appreciation Month and the bargains are fantastic. All 25 cent books are priced six for $1. Paperback westerns, normally 50 cents are three for $1. Buy two books by an author, get the third book free. There are also special prices for popular authors, including MH Clark, Grisham, Sheldon, Steele, and more. Religion and inspiration books enjoy BOGO pricing.
And all vintage books are priced to sell. We will consider your offers.
The sale is Saturday Sept. 5 from 9 am to 1 pm. We hope you will enjoy your holiday and spend a little time with your Friends at the Library.
But as always, thank you for reading.
