It's a sure bet the Bulldog mascots will be on hand to greet fans at the August 11 Back to School Bash, held this year at Bandera High School.

Make plans to attend the Back to School Bash on Tuesday, August 11, and enjoy fun for the entire family. Parents will receive valuable information about the upcoming school year while youth will enjoy hands on interactive activities and entertainment. The event will be from 5:30-7 pm at Bandera High School and is being sponsored by Bandera ISD, Boys and Girls Clubs of Bandera and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
"The Back to School Bash is a great opportunity for families to have some fun getting ready to start the new school year," said Regina Howell, BISD superintendent.
The program will include a pep rally and will feature Bandera High School band members, cheerleaders and athletes. Numerous vendors will be on hand to provide valuable information to parents concerning school programs, day care providers and youth extracurricular activities to name a few. Refreshments will be provided and the event is free to the general public.
"The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bandera County continues to be so proud of our community collaboration and partnership with both Bandera ISD and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. By working together the magnitude of our reach is beyond what we could do as individual organizations," said Mike Pimpinella, CPO for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bandera County. "The success of last year's event leaves us looking for even further potential to assist Bandera County youth and families. Together that is our primary goal."
The three sponsoring organizations look forward to seeing lots of students and families at Bandera High School on Tuesday, August 11. Come out and get the 2015-2016 school year off to a great start!
