Due to popular demand, Dean Reganess will continue to offer free stone-carving classes at the Schreiner Mansion Historic Site and Education Center in Kerrville.
The classes will be held in the mansion's courtyard from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday, June 27 and July 11 and 25. The sessions are open to participants eight years old to adult and each class will be limited to ten participants.
To register contact Stacey Lewis, director of the Schreiner Mansion, at 830-890-5886 or email mansion@schreiner.edu.
A third-generation stone carver, Reganess grew up in rural Michigan. He owns and operates Carver Road, a Kerrville-based stone carving, sculpture and fine stone masonry company, which offers custom designing and original one-of-a-kind artwork.
Carver Road has a page on Facebook with photos of some of its creations.
