Join Stan's 100th birthday celebration

Contributed

Silver Sage is hosting the 100th birthday party for Stanley Johnson. He turns 100 on Thursday, June 25, and will have a celebration on Saturday, June 27, in the Great Room of the Silver Sage Community Center from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Stan's life has been most interesting and he loves telling stories about "the good ol' days." Listening to this veteran is such a joy!
Stan remembers songs and poems from his elementary years and has a sharp sense of humor.
He never meets a stranger and, at the Community Center, he makes sure that visitors are made to feel welcome.
Stan served the country in WWII and had a part in relaying the news of the attack on Pearl Harbor. He is the oldest living veteran in Bandera County.
Stan asks for no gifts, but cards would be appreciated.
"It's not every day that you can attend a 100th birthday party, so make plans to come help Stan celebrate his!" said Silver Sage Administrative Assistant Amy Dee Hawley.
