Effective June 15, Benjamin "Stormy" Pruitt is joining the Hondo National Bank family as President of the HNB Bandera Banking Center. In making the announcement, Tim Gilles (CEO/President of HNB) stated, "We are fortunate to have Stormy join us in Bandera. He brings a wealth of banking experience and agri-business background to the job."
Pruitt, who prefers to be called "Stormy," has most recently served as Vice President Loan Department at Blanco National Bank where he had been employed since 2002. Prior to that he worked at Ft. Davis State Bank for several years as Ag Lending Officer. Before embarking on his banking career he worked in the agri-business field doing everything from crop adjusting in Lubbock to representing Production Credit Association in Marfa.
Stormy was ranch and farm raised in the Madera Valley, graduated from Balmorhea High School, and earned a BS in Agribusiness from Sul Ross State University in 1981. Most importantly, he is married to Amy, who owns and operates a salon in Blanco. They have two sons, Trent and Tre, who attend Blanco High School.
