Local artist Bill Stevens has begun work on a large mural to be attached to the side of a small office complex, located at the intersection of 12th Street and Highway 16. The strip complex is owned by former City of Bandera Mayor Don Clark. The 4-foot by 8-foot panels will depict a chuck wagon scene, featuring local "cookie" and farrier Kelly Scott. Stevens is doing his creating at the Old Cabaret Dancehall and invites everyone to come for a "look see." The mural beautification program is the brainchild of historian Dave Burrel.
