First Saturday book sale

By Mary Conley Sec'y, FOL

"April showers bring May flowers," and also the return of the Friends of the Library first Saturday book sale.
Come by the Bandera library on Saturday, May 2, and find a wide selection of new books. Whether a fan of Anne Rice, Robert Ludlum, Dean Koontz, or just looking for a new-to-you non-fiction author, you will not fail to find a treat.
History, travel, and wonderful cookbooks are also available. A quilter has donated a huge library of books to pique your creative juices.
There are so many new books that we have expanded our spring cleaning and are offering sale prices on all vintage books and books that have been in stock over four months.
Stop in on Saturday anytime from 9 am to 1 pm. We love to see you even if you don't purchase a book. And as always, we thank you for reading.
We also thank the many "friends" who have responded to the 2015 membership drive. We have reached the half way mark! Check out the Bandera Bookworm, at the library. It's green from bottom to middle.
If you haven't yet had a chance to respond to the drive, please join the Friends of the Library to ensure this wonderful library is stocked with current books, periodicals, books on tape and so much more. Forms are available at the library anytime.
