St. Stanislaus moving festival to parish grounds

St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Bandera, the 2nd oldest Polish parish in the nation, will host its annual festival on Sunday, May 3, from 1- 7 pm with several exciting changes.
The biggest change is location. The festival will be held on the parish grounds on 7th Street between Cypress and Cedar. St Stanislaus has made many upgrades to the facilities and is proud to showcase them in a festive environment.
Entertainment will include two live bands, the San Antonio Community Band playing Big Band Era music, and a regional favorite, Cactus Country, featuring country, oldies, classic rock and Latin hits.
As always, there will be assorted food and beverage booths available, along with tented areas to relax, eat and enjoy the day. Numerous games and activities will be on going throughout the day.
Silent and live auctions will feature a bass boat, an ATV and a 50-inch television to name a few.
A raffle will include a $3,000 VISA gift card as its grand prize along with several additional prizes. Participants need not be present to win.
"Come and share an afternoon of fun, food and fellowship," said a parish spokesman. For more information or to purchase raffle tickets, call the parish at 830-460-4712.
