Books & more on sale Saturday

By Mary Conley Secy, FOL

It's February already! Do you have the mid winter blahs? The first Saturday Friends of the Library book sale has lots to excite.
Fiction lovers will enjoy a great new selection of hardbacks. Children, or their parents and grandparents, can choose from a wide new collection of books for tots to preteens - all in very good condition and only 25¢ each. There are even a few puzzles for the little ones.
Finding a compelling new book is always exciting but it's a special treat to meet the author. We will have local author Judith Hooper on-site to sign her book and share her creative process.
Finally, a generous donor presented the Friends with a brand new 32" LG LED television. We have decided to raffle this television; tickets will be available at the book sale, $1 each or 6 for $5.
The Friends hope you will stop in Saturday, Feb. 7 to buy a book, talk to an author, take a chance, or maybe just say hello before the Mardi Gras parade. We enjoy our day best when we see you.
And as always, thank you for reading.
