2014 Chamber winners

Staff and volunteers with the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the 2014 Chamber Awards at a mixer held Thursday, Jan. 8, at the Silver Sage Community Center.
Winners included:
• Cowboy Capital Award, The Cowboys on Main program
• Citizens of the Year Award, Randy and Liz Lawlis
• Bandera Community Award, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bandera County
• Volunteer of the Year, Janna Lindig
• Directors' Award, Christine Morse
• Wilton Crider Preservation Award, Kelly Scott
In related business, during the annual Breakfast Taco Sale, held Friday, Jan. 9, the Chamber raised $1,037, which benefitted the Junior Livestock Show Association.
The Chamber Board of Directors thanks Brick Gibson, owner of Brick's River Café, for donating his kitchen facilities and all food and supplies to make the recent taco sale a success. They also thanked all those who braved the cold, wind and precipitation to purchase the breakfast tacos.
