Law West and East of Privilege Creek

By Judith Pannebaker BCC Editor

Monday, Jan. 5:
• A Bad Girl from Bandera found herself in some hot water after assaulting someone the results of which accounted for bodily injury.
• Well, it looks like a Firebug from the Lake District remains confined to the county can, charged with arson - a felony to be sure.
Tuesday, Jan. 6:
• A Hick from Hay also remains under lock & key after it was explained to him that yes, even in the Texas Hill Country, one needs to be properly licensed in order to operate a motorized vehicle legally.
• A 17-year-old Bandera Bandito is accused of assaulting someone with bodily injury.
• A court ordered that a Cowboy Capital Criminal be arrested for a misdemeanor and so he was and so he remains.
• A Lush from Lakehills was arrested for a third DWI thus upping the ante to a felony charge.
Thursday, Jan. 8:
• A Bum from Bandera succumbed to two misdemeanor warrants, one for going "off-bond" and the other for failing to appear. Miraculously, he made bail again.
• A Dimwit from Devine and his cohort in crime, a Bandera Bonehead, were both busted for possession of a Penalty Grade 1 controlled substance - more than four but less than 200 grams and more than one but less than four grams, respectively.
• A Lakehills Lumpling remains in the Big House after deputies discovered he was being dogged by a felony warrant that may serve - at some point in the far future, no doubt - to revoke his probation.
Friday, Jan. 9:
• A Hellion from the Hill District also found himself nonplussed to be hauled off to the hoosegow on account of two felony warrants from an outside agency. He remains enjoying the largess of county taxpayers.
• A Bandera Boozer celebrated Friday nite by getting publically plastered.
• A Sot from San Antone received his first arrest for DWI. Hope you enjoyed that last drink, fellow!
Saturday, Jan. 10:
• A couple of Slugs from San Antonio were arrested due to outstanding misdemeanor warrants. A 22 year old bonded out the next day, but the 46 year old remains a guest of the Doo Drop Inn.
Monday, Jan. 12:
• A Pipe Creep also remains in the quod after being detained for a misdemeanor warrant from an outside agency.
• As does a Lakehills Lawbreaker, but his misdemeanor warrant looks like it has something to do with his probation being revoked.
