"Life's Better Outside" - especially at the Hill Country State Natural Area with your kids.
Parents, grandparents and children will hike, have fun and discover nature along the trail with Leanne Beauxbeannes, park interpretive ranger.
Enjoy a guided nature hike with your kids, grandkids or even your neighbors' kids, beginning at 1 pm, Saturday, Dec. 27. Let them discover the joy of being out on the trail and seeing nature close-up. This on-the-trail activity will enhance everyone's observation skills.
Participants are asked to meet at HCSNA headquarters prior to the hike. Everyone is also reminded to dress in layers for weather, and bring water, snacks and camera.
Park admission for adults is $6, and seniors 65 years and older, $3, while children ages 12 years and younger are free. In addition, an annual pass waives fees for all individuals in one vehicle
