By Garrett Meier Reporter, Pioneer 4H

On Oct. 26, the Pioneer 4-H club held "Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat" and collected non-perishable food items in front of Lowe's Supermarket for the Helping Hand Food Bank.
The 4-H members collected 250 pounds of food, as well as $50 in cash donations, which they presented to Jesse Parks, director of Bandera County Helping Hand, on Nov. 12.
"We would like to thank Lowe's Supermarket for providing the location for this community service project," said a spokesman for the club.
