By Mary Conley Secretary, FOL

This year is ending so quickly! Saturday, Dec. 6 is the last Friends of the Library first Saturday book sale of the year. To thank you all for your support, the Friends are offering a preview of the sale, in conjunction with Shopper's Jubilee.
Yes, the library will be open and the sale in progress on Friday, Dec. 5 from setup till 8 pm.
At this month's sale, fiction readers can choose from collections by Nora Roberts, Joanna Fulke or the queen of "royal" fiction, Phillipa Gregory, while aviation enthusiasts can select from a variety of WWI and WWII aircraft volumes.
We are also pleased to have author Rose M. Hall in attendance to talk about her historical novel based on the life of Ellen Gething. "A Spirit to Resist" is based on Gething's 19th century story of surviving and thriving on our harsh Great Plains.
Finally, in honor of the season, all religious and inspirational books are specially priced.
Whether Friday or Saturday, we look forward to seeing old friends and new who stop to say hello or chat and perhaps find a treasure.
The happiest of holidays to all, and as always, thank you for reading.
