Volunteers and staff with Bandera County Animal Care & Control Services will hold a pet adoption from 10 am to 4 pm, Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Bandera Volunteer Fire Department station house on Main Street. Adoptions are $40, which includes mandatory rabies vaccinations. If a licensed veterinarian is not on-site during the adoption, arrangements will be made to have the required shots administered at a later date. Throughout 2015, pet adoptions will be held the first Saturday of every month either at the fire station in Bandera or at the AC facility on Highway 16 North. For more information, contact County Attorney Janna Lindig at 830-460-8143.
