First Saturday book sale at library

By Mary Conley Sec'y FOL

Halloween will be over but readers will find plenty of treats at the Friends of the Library 1st Saturday book sale. Fiction lovers can select from a wide selection of newly donated hard and paperback novels.
Science fiction aficionados will find all of that genre at special prices. And if you are a bargain hunter, discover the new 'inventory reduction' table where all books are half priced.
Our sale is Saturday, Nov. 1 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Bandera Library. We hope to see you there.
November is the month of giving thanks. The Friends wish to thank so many benefactors: those who join the Friends in our membership drive; the donors who donate books, tapes, puzzles, for our monthly sales; the volunteers who set up and put away our sale materials; those who wrap Christmas gifts at Barnes & Noble; the many customers, especially the repeat customers who purchase at the monthly sales or from the 25 cent nook; and the board of the Friends who provide guidance and assistance.
And as always, we thank you for reading.
