Hill Country Alliance hosts Rainwater Festival

By Carolyn B. Edwards BCC Staff Writer

The Hill Country Alliance hosts its annual Rainwater Revival this Saturday, Oct. 25, in Dripping Springs. The event will run from 10 am to 4 pm at Dripping Springs Ranch Park and Event Center.
The event is a celebration of collection, conservation and common sense, organizers said.
There is no admission fee to this family friendly event with lots of speakers, vendors, demonstrations, education and kids' crafts projects.
Fundraising will be via the popular Rain Barrel Art Auction. Numerous Hill Country artists have put their skills to use painting a number of rain barrels. The online auction began on Oct. 1, but there is still plenty of time to bid at RainBarrelAuction.com
Other sponsors of the event include Keith Thomas Design, Barton Springs Edwards Aquifer Conservation District, Cow Creek Groundwater Conservation District, City of Dripping Springs, Lakota Rainwater, West Travis PUA.
