Retired teachers & cell phone safety

The next meeting of the Bandera County Retired Teachers Association will take place, beginning at 11 am, Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Bandera Independent School District portable buildings one and two, 815 Pecan Street, in Bandera.
Guest speakers will include Charlie Halsell of the Bandera ISD Technology Department and Tracy Thayer, district director of Federal Programs and Communications. They will discuss "How to Get The Most Out of Your Cell Phone," covering how to set up a contact list, download apps, texting, taking pictures and safety considerations and avoiding ID theft. Those attending are reminded to bring their cell phones.
Following the program, lunch will be catered by Bandera ISD Food Service.
