HCSNA's Fall Wildflower Nature Walk

Park Ranger Leanne Beauxbeannes of the Hill Country State Natural Area will lead a Fall Wildflowers Nature Walk from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 10 and 11, at the park.
During the walk, participants will learn about the diverse fall-blooming native wildflowers and grasses that bloom in the Hill Country. Participants are reminded to bring water, books and note pads and a walking stick. Hiking boots and "dressing for the weather" are also recommended.
Bandera County's Hill Country State Natural Area is located about 10 miles south of Bandera, at 10600 Bandera Creek Road off FM 1077. Participants will meet at the park headquarters for registration prior to starting time. Regular park entry fees will apply - $6 for day use, $3 with Bluebonnet Pass for those 65 years and older with identification and free with annual pass and for children ages 12 years and younger.
