BCRW announces school supply drive

The Bandera County Republican Women will hold their first meeting of the political season and kickoff the annual School Supply Drive, from 11:30 am to 1 pm, Friday, Sept. 12, at the Silver Sage Community Center, 803 Buck Creek Boulevard.
Guest speaker will be Michele Samuelson, spokesman for the Texas Federation of Republican Women social media. A "whiz" at all forms of social media, including mass emailing, Facebook, tweeting and blogging, she will be share her knowledge and how to use it effectively in the political arena.
Participants are also asked to bring items collected for the BCRW's annual School Supply Drive. Monetary donations will also be accepted. All donations will be turned over to the Bandera ISD to ensure no student goes without the supplies and tools needed to succeed in school.
As always the public is welcome at BCRW meetings.
