Grantsmanship training program

Contributed

The Grantsmanship Center will lead a grant writing workshop on Monday, Oct. 27, in San Antonio.
This program is a comprehensive hands-on workshop that covers the complete grant development process, from researching funding sources to writing and reviewing grant proposals.
Participants are personally guided by a seasoned expert, a trainer with years of practical experience and loads of up-to-date information about the world of grants today. The trainer suggests the best approaches to the problems each organization faces-and shares insights that can save costly mistakes and years of trial-and-error learning. Participants actively create real proposals in class. It's theory put into action!
The training helps promote economic sustainability for nonprofits and government agencies. The Grantsmanship Center also offers free resources, including a map of funding state by state and other resources.
Classes will meet from 8:30 am-5:30 pm each day, except Friday when class ends at 1 pm. Groups have an option to work until 7 pm on Wednesday.
The course will be presented at AACOG, Classroom 3-01, 8700 Tesoro Drive, 3rd Floor, in San Antonio.
Call 800-421-9512 for more information and to register. The cost is $895, with a limited number of half-tuition scholarships for nonprofits with annual budgets less than $500,000.
