BISD board accepts gift from Texas Hill Country Bank

Dr. Barbara Skipper, center, president of the Bandera ISD Board of Trustees, accepts a $10,000 check from representatives of Texas Hill Country Bank to be used to fund the construction of a new electronic marquee at Bandera High School. At left, Bank President Roy D. Thompson and Executive Vice President Cheri Teague join Chairman of the Board of Directors Johnny Boyle, at right, in presenting Skipper with the check. At far right, BHS Principal Gary Bitzkie smiles proudly. The marquee will stand near the entrance to BHS to keep students and parents advised of upcoming events and other school news.
