'Barks in Bandera City Park'

Staff

Hanna, Nigel, Sacha and Lacey all currently reside in the City of Bandera Animal Control Facility off Highway 16 South. To help them - and others - find forever homes, volunteer Sandra Schott has put together a "Barks in Bandera City Park" adoption. The event will take place from 10 am to 4 pm, Sunday, August 10. Anyone looking for a four-legged sidekick is invited to drop by and check out these gals and guys. Or, just come out and say, "Howdy!" and maybe donate a bag of dog food, a leash, toy, dog dish or whatever. Dog walkers would also be greatly appreciated, too. All adoptable dogs are already spayed and neutered and up-to-date on their vaccinations. "This will a great way to get the dogs out of their kennels and let them just be dogs for a day," said Schott. "And, even if just one dog is adopted, it's worth giving up a Sunday for." The Courier invites everyone to drop by City Park and see just how much fun having a dog can be.
