Bargain books at library sale

By Mary Conley Secretary, FOL

Summer is heating up. August always sizzles but the Friends of the Library 1st Saturday book sale offers a cool respite and so much more. Thanks to another large donation you will find many more children's and preteen books.
Louis L'Amour fans can choose from dozens of titles, all in paperback. If general fiction is more to your liking, you'll enjoy looking through a myriad of new offerings, many hardbacks in excellent condition.
For those who prefer non-fiction, check out the new books on religion, philosophy, WWII and China.
Whether an old friend or new customer we always look forward to seeing you and discovering your reading interests. So mark your calendar and stop by our sale on Saturday, August 2, from 9am to 1pm.
We'll be looking for you, and thank you for reading.
The Friends of the Library membership drive is winding down and we are very close to our goal. If you are already a member, thank you for your support. If you haven't yet joined, please consider joining the FOL as we work to keep the library in the latest books, CD/DVD's, magazines, newspapers, etc. Bandera has a great library. You can make a difference and help the library maintain it's special place in the community.
